My name is David Lee, aka "Gypsyshooter", and I've been shooting live music since the mid 1980's
when I got my firstĀ  "real" film camera (a Canon T-50) and snuck it into a Grateful Dead show...
While a lot has happened since, I never lost my passion for trying to capture
Live Music, and those who bring it.
Fast-forward 30 some-odd years, with a 20+ year stint in the corporate world with an emphasis on
Graphic Design/Advertising/Art Direction, there was never a camera far away.
I came back around to Music maybe 15 years ago, when digital hit the scene and became a more affordable
and viable alternative... went thru a few cheap cameras & came to rest 8 years ago with my first "black brick".
The players have changed for the most part, but it all goes back to 1987 and trying to get close enough
with my old T-50 to get a decent shot of Jerry...
